First off thanks to everyone who has shown any interest in getting tattooed by me. I have put together a few frequently asked questions to help you out. If you have a question that you don't see here please feel free to get ahold of me.
Q: How long have you been tattooing
A: I apprenticed under Travis Franklin at Oddity Tattoo in Sarasota, Fl and began tattooing in September of 2007
Q: What days do you tattoo?
A: I Tattoo Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2-9 pm
Q: How far in advance should I schedule my tattoo?
A: I usually book atleast 4-6 weeks in advance. If Saturdays are the best days for you to get a tattoo then I would say you can expect a 6-8 week wait
Q: How much do you charge?
A: I charge $125 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. If you have a budget that you would like to stay within please let me know and I can design something to fit within a that budget for you.
Q: What style of tattoo can I expect to get from you?
A: I only do cartoon based tattoos. My preference is animals, creatures and monsters. I will do both Black & Grey and Color. I try to stay away from most other styles because to be honest that is not what I am good at. There are 7 other artists at Oddity that can do anything from traditional Japanese, tribal, portraits, realism and anything else you could imagine. You can see all the other artist work at www.OddityTattoo.com but if you're unsure who would be best for your tattoo feel free to contact me and I will point you in the right direction.
Q: Do you take a deposit?
A: Yes! Most deposits are $125 and this pays for your last hour of work. For larger pieces i will take a $250 or $500 deposit for full sleeves, back pieces and similar sized pieces. All deposits come off the back end of the tattoo.
Q: Im coming from out of town is there anyway you can email me the drawing before I come?
A: Unfortunately this is not possible, for multiple reasons. If you're coming from out of town please be as clear as you can about the design that you want done for your tattoo. This will cut down on any miscommunication between us and assure you that your tattoo will be what you're looking for.
Q: I live really far away and love your art! Can I use one of your images to get tattooed on me or can you draw me something for a tattoo?
A: Due to a hectic schedule I dont have the necessary time to design tattoos that I wont be tattooing. If you would like to get one of my paintings tattooed on you by a local artist that is perfectly fine. I would love for you to send me a photo of it when it is finished though, as I would love to see it! It would be my preference to not use any of my tattoo images as a tattoo design for yourself. These tattoos are usually a collaborative effort between myself and the client who wears them and out of respect to the client I would prefer all tattoos be left as is and not re-tattooed. thanks for understanding
Thanks so much for checking this out and hopefully it'll answer a few questions for ya, but if you need anything else please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I can
